In my 20 years of life, there have been many wonderful things. University life is the most splendid time. So what does university life count for? Actually I had no idea when I commenced my college life. But now I have so many feelings about university life that words cannot describe. Given a sentence to describe my feeling, I’d rather say campus life likes performing on the stage. Each of us is an individual and each of us is unique. Everybody has their own role. Some take part in social activities; some explore in the treasure house of books, some devote their time to their interests. Different people have different things to do. Cultivating our individuality will transform our lives, making of them a kaleidoscope of new colors. On the other hand, each of us lives in a whole. Just like an opera, it is not a show of only one person. Every thing is in relations. We should learn how to get on well with others, because when we get out of the ivory tower and entered the real world we can’t live without communication and cooperation. Given a sentence to describe my feeling, I’d rather say campus life likes sailing in the sea. As we know, when sailing in the sea, we can see wonderful scenery, but we also cannot avoid encountering storms. Last year, I took part in English speech contest, because of nervous I failed. Frankly speaking, I didn’t bounce back from that for a long time. But at last, I realized, I did realize that we ought to face the world and brave the storm. Every one may make mistakes. The real tragedy is not making mistakes, but having your identity lose in a world which cannot learn from failure. So today I am standing here and giving my speech again. Although I cannot assure I am the best one in giving speech, I dare to stand here again, that’s enough. If we won’t take challenge we will never be outstanding. This is the time of knowledge economy, the age of chances and speed, the era of development and surpassing the outback of competition and cooperation. And the university life will be the best preparation for stepping into the real society. So, to my young friends: Please cherish and enjoy university life, do what we want to do, get what we want to get, contribute our individual and unique colors to create a more diverse universe. ---------------------------------------------------- 学英语，爱英语 我爱英语网【Www.52en.Com】 |

sharoncai | 发表于:2005-12-5 20:20:11 as a freshman,i find it too childtish to say so every stage has its own up and down. colorful sometimes ,but everyone has to admit that life is no perfection. face up to challenge, and that's all we must, and wo could. i also have colorful moments. but not as you said, beutiful, as i would like to describe it, i prefer this word pretty but a little painful, but just enjoy it endure it a little, just talk about it and speak your self out. that's what i really , really feel i hope this would not upset you everybody can write out his own thoughts, wish you and me healthy ,and enjoyable!  |

lzk5529 | 发表于:2006-8-14 11:32:48 yes ,i agree with you . after just finished school ,i felt it was a waste of my time ,i got nothing in four years ,my classmates went for their dreams and i was arranged to a state-owned factory in the west of our province . in that days , i knew nothing on my work and the senior colleagues only mentioned you what ought to do and they never told you how to do, and i did not know how to get on with them. i was suffering alone ,at that time i felt isolated and simple ,it is a nightmare whenver i recall it .oh ,all my friends ,It is not only for knowledge in campus the most important thing is to get weel with others .as the host said we cann't live without communication and cooperation |

Such as the enjoyment of tv plays. When my classmates were talking about idols,music or outside activities. I had no idea about them.I just could discuss with them about the studies or girl talks.Now I have graduated,thanks to my endeavor,I soon found a good job and put what I learned into practise....So, I don't mind all the enjoyments I missed during the colleague life.Now I can also enjoy them.Right? |
